I’ve gotten 15 comments on this blog so far. 4 have been approved, the rest were auto-rejected by Akismet. And it won’t let me see the comments that it blocked. Band-less
Need a Line6 Pod UX1 or UX2 and preferably a decent mic.
Need to pick something to showcase.
I want it. Scared as I am.
I’ve been playing this F2P MMORPG, Runes of Magic lately, or rather trying to, since school always gets in the way of everything.
From Wikipedia:
From Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
Impromptu. Improvised. Unrehearsed. Jamming.
This is a jazz jam session.
This is a metal jam session.
Notice in this video, the three take turns soloing while the rest maintain a rhythm riff behind the soloist.
A Jam Session does NOT strictly mean playing songs or covers. What happens if, for example, a guitarist can solo, sweep, tap, and shred like no other, but can’t randomly play with others because he’s not playing something he’s practiced? What kind of musician does that make you?
Perhaps taking a break from the tabs and learning a couple of scales or some theory would be a good idea, gaiz.
I’m a fan of adventure games, the story-driven kind where the game is like a novel but you play it. (Yes, I basically just restated the title)
I enjoyed games such as Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney games), Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory. They’re all for DS. I also played Time Hollow but it wasn’t as good. The people who made Hotel Dusk have another game in development, can’t wait.
I remember seeing an interesting-looking DS game on a shelf at an EBGames. A very long time later, after some searching (re)discovered it was called Lux Pain. Unfortunately according to reviews and a screenshot I found, the guys who localized it from Japanese must not speak English or something because the translation job is ridiculously poor. What were they thinking? Do they even realize what they’re writing, and do they even proofread or quality check the game before it’s shipped out?
Anyway, I’m looking for another game in this style to play. They seem hard to come by… maybe because the majority of the gaming market wants to blow things up instead of focusing on storytelling?
On a rather unrelated note I hope Tales of Vesperia PS3 comes to North America… because I’ll be sad otherwise.
Last night, I got Elite Kurzick armour for my monk. ^_^ So spiffy, dyed all white. Cost about 80k including dyes. Now I’m poor again. :D
Hi ‘Rents, kindly STFU because contrary to your stupid one-track mentality I actually do care about my grades and about school but UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME whenever I slip up JUST A BIT you’re friggin’ come down on me unjustly hard and exaggerating everything out of proportions.
Since you have that stupid mentality nicely set in your head up there, it’s not going to move or change in the slightest, is it? Nope. I’d like to bring to your attention that HUMAN ERROR, such as lapses in memory, AKA FORGETFULNESS, are HONEST MISTAKES, FFS. Unfortunately for me I am by nature a forgetful person. It is possible for me to even FORGET WHEN I WRITE A NOTE TO MYSELF DOWN.
Oh, the irony. Assuming makes an ass out of you, but I don’t see how it makes an ass out of me. Stupid mentalities people have, I hate it. It makes arguments losing battles, so why try? That and the subconscious superiority mentality. Dammit. Damn you. You don’t know what it’s like to be me, nobody does, so don’t frickin’ assume things about me, because they’re not true. But no, you’re not going to change your assumptions, because you’re right. Always right. You’re always right, aren’t you? Sure as hell you’re not. Open your mind. And your eyes. And your ears. Because right now, they’re all closed. Only, you don’t know it. Because you’re always right. And today, being right means I don’t give a shet about anything, except my dumb life-wasting games, isn’t that right?
STFU KTHXBAI
BAM. Every .hack (say: Dot-Hack) fan’s wish, a real ‘The World’, is seemingly coming true. CyberConnect LLC, a company of 8 developers are in the process of making a fan-MMORPG based off the PS2 .hack games, which revolve around a fictional online game called ‘The World’. So far, Bandai-Namco’s only attempt at an online .hack game was a failure, .hack//FRAGMENT for PS2, released in Japan only.
CC LLC’s game is for PC, and will be a full 3D multiplayer online RPG, just like The World was in the PS2 games. Personally, I’m excited for the release. Even though it looks subpar compared to commercially developed MMOs, I’ve always wanted to play a .hack MMO. :D Awesome job, to the guys at CC. I never thought anything like this would actually happen, but maybe now we shouldn’t rule anything out for anything, if you get what I mean.
…is awesome great fun. The higher armour level compared to Elementalist armour, which I usually play in PvP, definitely helped.
But, the best part is going into Frenzy and landing that last hit to kill your target :D The sound it makes is like music. It’s even better when you get multiple kills in rapid succession. Yeayuh!
8 Consecutive Wins in Random Arenas tonight, had a Dervish healer, a Mesmer, and a water Elementalist on my team. ^_^
*THWACK* *Red bar goes all grey* *Smile* :D :D :D
